[This is an intervention.

This is Isamu marching into Richard's room and then just standing there with his hands on his hips.]

Get dressed. You're taking me out.

Out...?

[Richard doesn't even roll over in bed to look at him, but there's enough of a questioning tone to his voice (flat though it is) that it should be obvious that he's confused.]

Yes. Out. It's the place you go when you get past the front door.

[Isamu walks over to the bed and begins tugging on the blanket.]

Up up up! We have plans.

I don't recall having any plans.

[But he's not protesting that blanket being tugged off either. That's too much effort and he's not really that invested in that blanket anyway.]

You do now. I've made them for you.

[And now? Isamu will grab the nearest leg and pull.]

[Wait that is not fair he was not expecting that--

-- and off the edge of the bed he goes with a thud and a startled yelp.]

Now, are you gonna make me dress you, or can you do that much on your own?

... I'll do it myself.

[He sounds more resigned than anything else at the moment. Given that the other option would be being outright combative, however, this is probably for the best.]

Good man.

[Isamu will just wait patiently while he does.]

[And get dressed he will, though it's really more just throwing on a pair of pants and a shirt than anything else. At least he is presentable, okay.

... save for the bedhead, but that's a minor detail.]

[A minor detail that Isamu will be fixing as soon as he gets his hands on a brush.

Hold still, Richard.]

[That is slightly unexpected, but once he realizes what Isamu is up to, he'll obediently hold still.

Not because it feels kind of nice or anything.]

[Finishing up, Isamu pats him on the shoulder.]

There. Now we're leaving. I've got stuff already being prepared for us at 7th Heaven.

In other words, I don't stand a chance of escaping this without facing Sanji's wrath.

[But there's the faintest hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.]

Exactly.

[Actually, he hasn't asked for Sanji's help with this much at all, but there's no reason to let Richard know that.]

I hope you didn't tell him this was a date.

[The fact that he's trying to make a joke is a good sign!]

I'm not a hundred percent sure he would have gone along with it if I had.

And there goes my only hope of escaping this.

Yep. Right out the window.

Speaking of out the window...

Yes! [He grabs Richard's wrist.] We should be going.

[This surprises Richard a little, but he makes no move to protest. Lead the way, Isamu!

... before he changes his mind and decides he wants to go back home.]

[As long as he doesn't protest, Isamu will be dragging him to the restaurant.

Not letting go of him the whole way.]

[Protests will only come if Isamu walks too fast or squeezes his wrist too hard. Otherwise Richard finds that contact to be comforting, though he won't say anything about it. He is quiet and obedient for the moment.]

[Eventually, Isamu will tug him into 7th Heaven, where there's a table already reserved for them.

The reserve tag is in Isamu's handwriting, and he'd clearly set it up before going to get his friend.]
