[Finally Richard just slumps, looking defeated.]

[He reaches over again to rub Richard's back with one hand. His whole manner softens again.]

[Richard opens his mouth as if to protest, but the migraine that's rapidly starting to set in is enough to change his mind about that. Instead, he just nods.

Screw pajamas, he's just going to be fumbling off everything but his pants, flopping onto the bed, and curling up in a ball. He can move to the other room tomorrow when he doesn't feel so awful.]

[Isamu will soon lay down beside him soon, wrapping an arm around his waist as though in reassurance.]

[For all the protesting he'd made about being touched earlier, there doesn't seem to be much fight left in Richard on that front now. Instead, he curls into that touch and that warmth with a quiet sigh. He's never been very good at being alone, no matter how much he may try to insist that he's fine with it.]
