Asbel seems to have taken quite a liking to it as well; I don't think he would allow me to rehome it even if I wanted to.

[Not that he wants to, because just look at those big goat eyes. How could you want to get rid of something like that? Fortunately it doesn't seem interested in biting in the least, though it does sniff curiously at Otonashi's fingers.

Asbel? [Friend? Housemate?] So you guys are just going to keep it as a pet?

[Well, he did just meet a rainbow, flying, talking pony the other day so... Maybe keeping goats as pets isn't as weird as he thinks. Once it licks him though, he just flinches a bit, slightly startled. Did it just... lick him?

It certainly has a suitable temperament to be one, don't you think?

[Oh, that is one happy goat as it bows its head into the petting and lets out another content bleat. It seems so happy to be treated with such affection that the idea of keeping it as a pet... really doesn't seem so odd after all.]
