[And fall forward Richard does, still laughing as he lands on the bed and rolls over to look up at them. He may also be trying to tug them down with him, because he's in a decidedly affectionate and cuddly mood right now.]

I'll take that as a compliment.

[The relationship these two share . . .

His thoughts trail off as he looks from Richard to Isamu, lightly resisting the tug from the former. He's not sure if he should let Richard drag him down. Isamu is better suited for that, so it should just be him. Right?]

[Linefacing at you, Richard. Just lots of this. -> :|

Isamu bats the hand away as the blond tries to bring him down with him. Not right now, your majesty.]

You are the most affectionate drunk I've ever seen. Someone get this man a plushie to cuddle.

[Oh, you two are no fun at all. Richard will just be pouting now, but he's too uncoordinated to really make any sort of physical protest.]

I believe you said you would tuck me in.

[He pulls away. An idea comes to him when Isamu mentions a plush, but there's no way he's going to share. It's a bit late to say it now, anyway.

Yes, Isamu, you said you'd tuck him in.]

Take off what you don't wanna sleep in, make yourself comfortable, and I will.

[Take off...? Oh, right. Richard can do that.

... or maybe not, as those buttons are proving very difficult to maneuver properly. IT'S NOT HIS FAULT, THEY WON'T STAY STILL.

The look of intense concentration on his face is undoubtedly amusing, though.]

[It just makes Hubert feel more awkward. Standing here, in this room, watching Richard try to partly undress is undoubtedly awkward for him. He rests a finger on his glasses and looks away.

He probably should offer some help, but the mere thought is even more awkward.]

[Isamu just rolls his eyes and moves up to help. Really, Richard, your friends are too good to you.]

[So nice, Isamu. So nice, in fact, that you're getting a great big hug as a reward, and he will hear no protests to the contrary.

Hubert, better back off or he'll try to tug you into it too.]

[Yes, Yes, he'll do that and stay backed away, by the door in case he should leave because these two get along so much more casually than he could ever. A king's hug, huh . . . ]

Oi.

[Prying... you... off...]

See if I help you again. You ready to lay down, yet?

[Don't you leave him just yet, Hubert. He'll focus all attention on you soon if need be.]

[It's more of a flop than anything else, but Richard will be obedient and half-lay back, half-topple onto the pillows. See? He's being good now.

... never mind that he's on TOP of the covers instead of underneath them.]

Will this do?

[Fine, fine. Perhaps he should stay and watch at least how this turns out in case they need to do something else.

And he nearly shakes his head again. That's not going to do.]

[All this eye-rolling. Just for you, Richard.

Isamu reaches down and begins yanking the sheet out from under the blond. He can't quite do the tablecloth maneuver, so for now he's just trying not to dump the king on the floor.

Once that's done, he throws the sheet over the man completely.]

[Aww, he feels so special. Or would, if he had any idea.

As it is, he just sort of snuggles down under the covers like a drowsy, content cat, stifling a yawn as he does so. Huh, maybe he had more to drink than he thought...]

[They're pretty much done here now, as far as he's concerned. Hubert shifts, gathering his feet together and standing straight as he observes Richard and Isamu.

Judging from the sounds of it, Richard should be asleep in no time.]

[Isamu sits down on the edge of the bed and retrieves his hat.]

I'll head down in a sec.

[Might as well make sure the King has nodded off so they don't end up having to drag him back later.]

[That won't be too long in happening given how sleepy he looks at the moment... except that the moment Isamu sits down, he'll be scooting over to sort of curl against him. Yep, still an affectionate drunk, even when tired.]

[At Isamu's words, Hubert nods and heads downstairs, closing the door as he leaves the room. It's about time he left, seeing as how it would've been . . . odd, to say the least, to stand there and watch. He'll be waiting down by the stairs, just in case.]

[When Isamu is fairly certain Richard is out for the count, he carefully... CAREFULLY slides off the edge of the bed. A pillow is gently laid in his place so hopefully the king won't wake up due to the lack of something filling that space.

Then he heads downstairs, nodding to Hubert as he nears the bottom.]
