[Billy just has enough time to return the nudge before he looks up at Richard's voice, offering up a smile and a brief wave.]

Hey, Richard. Do you guys serve milkshakes here? Living down the hall from Loki really gets them stuck on the brain.

Or "shaken milk", as he calls it.

[He lifts one hand to give the appropriate air quotes while sharing a glance and playful smile with Billy, seeing how his other hand is still caught up with his boyfriend's.]

You're in luck-- we just so happen to make the best milkshakes in the village. Any flavor you can imagine, and some you probably didn't even know existed.

[The hand-holding doesn't go unnoticed by him, though he's polite enough not to comment on it... yet. It's sweet, though, seeing two people like him together and so very clearly in love, even though it makes a part of his heart hurt with the memories of what he'd had and lost.]

Any flavour, huh?

[Billy returns the playful look, leaning an elbow on the table.]

How about mocha-flavoured?

I'd be impressed if you had a caramel latte flavor. You got that? I can take regular caramel if you don't. [He would ask for a caramal macchiato flavor, but that's... probably difficult to pull off in milkshake form.]

Mocha I know we can do, and knowing Sanji, I suspect he won't have much trouble coming up with a caramel latte one either.

[... both of those sound pretty delicious. He's making a mental note to try these flavors for himself at some point.]

[Billy's brows lift, and he releases Teddy's hand just long enough to give Richard a golf clap.]

Wow, impressive! This place might actually be better than Absolute Bagels.

[Because everyone knows their coffee is terrible.]

[And right as Billy raises his hands to give a golf clap, Teddy does the same, giving his own nod of approval. You'd almost think they'd done something like this before.]

Better coffee, at least. I, however, will reserve judgement until I taste it.

[He gives an extra, teasingly snooty nod, though he knows full well that his request will probably be filled successfully. It's Sanji, after all.]

I'd be careful saying anything like that around Sanji if I were you. He takes the quality of his food very seriously-- I can't imagine he'd like hearing his coffee compared to some bagel restaurant's.

[The tone of his voice makes it clear that he's teasing, though... mostly. Sanji DOES take a great deal of pride in his food, there's no mistaking that.]

Don't worry, we know better than to mock the cook. Besides, we've eaten here enough to know that you guys have great food.

Mmhmm. My compliments, really. If only every restaurant back at home had a chef who cared so much about their food.

[And he means that sincerely; not that his body ever rejects any food, seeing how his healing factor can rule that out, but he's certainly tasted some less than desirable food.]

That isn't the case back in your world?

[Man, Earth may have some awesome technology, but if they have terrible food? That loses it a few points right there.]

Well, it is and it isn't. There's a lot of restaurants where we come from- thousands in our city alone, actually- so the quality is all over the place.
