[It's a clear autumn day, with crisp air and blue skies-- the perfect weather for taking a long walk, which is exactly what Richard is out doing right now. Only, well, it's less of a walk and more of a patrol of sorts, just in case. Not that he actually expects to find Naoki, but it can't hurt to keep an eye out anyway. He'll be wandering around pretty much all over town, out into the forest, and finally back to Apartment 23, where he's been staying for the past few days.

Anyone who spots him will probably notice that he looks somewhat tired and in less of a good mood than he usually is.]

Oh, no, nothing like that. I just...like things to be clean. Very clean. That's all.

That's a good outlook to have, especially now that we're getting into the muddy season. I might put a rug outside my apartment to keep dirt from being tracked in whenever I come back from the store-- it wasn't as much of a problem in the summer, but it will probably start snowing soon, won't it?

You know, that's a very good point. ...Are you sure it snows here? I mean, not that it would be a problem, but...this place is strange enough already.

Naoki mentioned that it did when we were discussing the weather some time ago. I arrived in March, so I have yet to see any snow here myself.

Oh. I see, I've only been here since April myself. One-hundred and eighty-three days. I'm sure the snow will be welcome for some people, though.
