[It's a cold, overcast day when Richard steps outside the house this morning, but that doesn't deter him one bit from the errands he has planned for today, even if it does cause him to duck back inside for a scarf first. It doesn't matter how much he hates the cold; today is important, so he can't wait for it to get warmer.

His first stop is the item store in search of the perfect gift. He'll probably linger around this store for the longest, because he wants to find just the right thing. After that, he'll head over to All Passions, where he makes a beeline towards the suits.

Finally, he heads to the bakery to grab a cake. This stop on his little shopping trip requires the most self-control... or not, as he'll probably end up emerging with a few more things than just a cake. Oh well, his housemates will eat them, right?

Once all of this is accomplished, he heads back to House 28, looking both very pleased with himself and just a little bit mischievous too.

I also recall reading that it's become a tradition for the new adults to celebrate their legality by going to a bar after the ceremony.

[Isamu gives him a deadpan look. Then he sighs.]

Alright. Might as well do something right for today.

That part can wait until a more appropriate hour, however. I think it's still a bit early to be starting the celebrations, unless things are different in your world. Besides, there are still those presents that I might end up keeping for myself...

He turns to face the shrine, sizing it up for a moment; then, drawing on those vague memories, he claps twice and bows.

[That's about right. But for some reason, seeing Richard do this gets a bit of a sporfle out of Isamu.

He clears his throat to try and keep it down, but the smile is still there. Then he mimics the motion.]

[... well, that gets him to pause, looking at once both slightly confused and flustered.]

Did I do something wrong?

Heh... nah.

[He will not say it looked cute, as that might go over awkwardly.]

Just amused me to see you do that, is all.

[All right, they've been out in the cold long enough, and it's not like Richard has much in the way of natural insulation. Time to start heading back to go to a nice warm building.
