[It's a cold, overcast day when Richard steps outside the house this morning, but that doesn't deter him one bit from the errands he has planned for today, even if it does cause him to duck back inside for a scarf first. It doesn't matter how much he hates the cold; today is important, so he can't wait for it to get warmer.

His first stop is the item store in search of the perfect gift. He'll probably linger around this store for the longest, because he wants to find just the right thing. After that, he'll head over to All Passions, where he makes a beeline towards the suits.

Finally, he heads to the bakery to grab a cake. This stop on his little shopping trip requires the most self-control... or not, as he'll probably end up emerging with a few more things than just a cake. Oh well, his housemates will eat them, right?

Once all of this is accomplished, he heads back to House 28, looking both very pleased with himself and just a little bit mischievous too.

There's two active ones, at the moment. It's a recent development in both cases though, really.

Not really. I'm sure you can figure it out and come up with something more interesting than the actual tradition anyway.

I was thinking something along those lines myself, as long as it doesn't involve some sort of wild party. Isamu has never been much of a fan of those, not even with coaxing on my part.

If you're going to do it right, even if it's not for me, probably a drink or two ought to happen.

[Richard just looks at her for a moment before he bursts out laughing.]

I suppose I can't argue with either one of those assessments.

Exactly! But even boring people like you probably have more to them than superficial traits like that, so I can't be expected to make an overall judgement or assessment with any degree of accuracy.

[Shrugging, she returns to her own checking stuff out]

I could always become so boring that I end up coming all the way back around to interesting again.

There's no limit to boredom, and as a result, there's no reason for it to reverse. That makes this whole topic pointless, and more important, boring. Just shut up and pick out your suit.
