[There are the sounds of a somewhat muffled conversation in the background before Richard picks up the journal to address it, a clear undercurrent of happiness and slight excitement to his voice.]

So this is what they refer to on Earth as a "white Christmas." I've read that this sort of Christmas is the best kind to have despite the weather... what do all of you think? Do you prefer the snow, or would you like a sunny day?

[He'll be sitting on the couch sipping a cup of tea while he waits for answers-- and his housemates, because IT'S CHRISTMAS AND HE IS EXCITED due to not having this holiday in his world. Might as well enjoy it while he's here, right?]

[Naoki laughs and turns his face into Richard's hair, closing his eyes. He breathes in his scent contentedly. Best Christmas ever already.]

Mmm. I think Ted would get mad at me too if I went out in this to give him his present.

[Likewise, Richard just nuzzles Naoki's shoulder and lets out a happy, content sigh.]

I wouldn't be surprised if Asbel stops by for a visit in spite of the weather.

[Naoki closes his eyes contentedly, hand stroking absently over Richard's side.]

Then we'll have to have some tea ready to help him warm up.

And I suppose you expect me to make it for him.

[He's in a playful mood, which means teasing.]

Hey, I don't mind making it.

[He keeps his eyes shut, nuzzling Richard's hair absently.]

[Who is the wife here again, Naoki?]

I'm glad to hear that. In that case, I'm sure you won't mind making breakfast and dinner either.

[... he's totally going to help out.]

[It is rather hard to tell sometimes, eh?]

Heh--if you really want me to, I will...but in a while. I'm feeling lazy right now.

[So lazy, boyfriend. But Richard doesn't mind, because he's feeling exactly the same way, so Naoki will just be getting a kiss in response.]

[Naoki curls his fingers under Richard's chin, urging him in a bit closer to deepen that kiss.]

[Naoki, they're in the living... oh, who cares. Opening his mouth to allow the other to deepen that kiss as much as he wants.]

[Who cares? Not Naoki, that's who. He slips his tongue into Richard's mouth with a muted noise, pulling him closer.]

[That action prompts a low, muffled sound of pleasure as Richard shifts closer, arms winding around Naoki's neck to kiss him more deeply.]

[Naoki tightens his arm around Richard's waist as he kisses him, the other lifting to thread fingers of his hand through his hair.]

[Richard could just stay here like this all morning, especially now that Naoki has that hand in his hair. He may just be melting the tiniest bit against him as that hair-petting renders him boneless.]

[Naoki smiles into that kiss as he strokes Richard's hair, scratching lightly at his scalp. He draws back just slightly for a breath before kissing him again.]

Naoki--

[But that warning gets cut off as Naoki's lips find his again and he's pulled back into another kiss.

... okay, they can keep this up for a few minutes more.]

Mmm.

[Was that a warning? Hrm. There is nothing wrong with making out in the living room, right? Right. Naoki nips lightly at his lower lip, murmuring into his lips.]

[Making out, no, but at this rate it will lead to things that should probably not be happening in the living room while other people are in the house.

... except that Richard is moving closer instead of pulling away.]

[Naoki presses a hand slightly to the small of his back, nipping again at his lips. Then soothing his tongue over the spot he just bit.]

[And that may be a groan that's slipping out of Richard's mouth before at last he reluctantly pulls back to murmur against Naoki's lips. ]

Not here...

[Naoki makes a small, disappointed sound and strokes his fingers up and down gently over his spine.]

Mm, but...

Tonight.

[And that's a promise. After all, he still hasn't shown Naoki what he got from that statue.]

[Naoki sighs but smiles, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to Richard's neck.]

Mm, okay. Tonight it is.

Now, I believe we're still missing someone...

[Naoki blinks and then glances around.]

Yeah--Isamu must be still asleep.

[...and now he gets an idea. Grins at Richard and quirks up his eyebrows as if to say 'shall we?']
