[Anyone who passes by the fountain today might notice something unusual: namely, a certain blond prince slumped in a sitting position against it. Only, well, he's no longer a prince, and he seems to be unconscious, but only the latter part is obvious. There are no visible injuries and he's still breathing, he just doesn't show any signs of waking up anytime soon.

Every now and then his face will contort slightly as if he's in pain or disturbed by some sort of bad dream, or maybe both. It's clear that whatever happened to him while he was gone wasn't good, but he's alive and in one piece and that's what matters the most. Whether there's anything non-physical wrong... that's yet to be seen.]

[Well, he was going to say "not human," but he changes topics instead.]

... I'm sorry. Thank you for waking me up like that.

[She shakes her head, humming. No problem. She then points to him, looking concerned. Are you okay?]

[It takes him a moment to interpret that.]

No, I'm not injured... I just need to rest, that's all.

[She tilts her head at that, before she reaches forward, pulling up the box near Richard that contained her clothes. Well, he might need help right?]

[Richard watches, curious, not sure what she's doing. Is she looking for a healing potion or something like that?]

[Not at all! She pulls out her dress then gets out of the fountain, taking enough time to dress up properly before she turns her tail into two scaly, webbed feet. Once that's done, she turns to Richard, holding her hands out in an attempt to say she'll help him up.]

[Don't mind him just sort of watching for a moment, confused, before he realizes that she's holding her hands out to him. He'll take them and try to stand up as best he can... give him a moment, this might take a little while.]

[She'll do her best not to fall while pulling him up. She's half his size and not the strongest mermaid in the world after all.]

[And he'll do his best not to tug her off-balance as he stands up. He's not that heavy, so it shouldn't be too hard.]

[Puuulll~ Success! She can lift men now!]

[Another slight smile at her as he tries to regain his balance and get everything to stop spinning.]

Thank you.

[She hums, trying to say he's welcome, before pointing to the Clinic. Maybe you should rest?]

[He blinks muzzily, trying to remember just what building that is.]

... the Clinic?

[She nods quickly at that. You should head there.]

You're right, that would be a good idea.

[Though he doubts they'll be able to do much of anything for him...]

[Good! She keeps her hold on his hand and starts walking to the clinic then. Make sure he doesn't get lost or anything.]

[And he'll follow along, amused despite how yucky he feels right now. He's never seen anything like this girl before, and even though she can't seem to speak, she's very kind. He'd like to speak with her more once he's feeling better.]

[She sings along the way, trying to make the atmosphere light and friendly. After all, it's not everyday she gets to help someone.]

[That's enough to make him smile a little, even despite his current condition.]

[She makes a louder hum, trying to say thank you at that, before trying to point at the clinic to indicate that they were close.]

[Richard is definitely relieved; walking is taking a lot more energy than he'd expected, even leaning on her like this.]

I believe I'm the one who should be thanking you for all of your help.

[She shakes her head, humming back in reply. No problem though~]

... I'm sorry, I never told you my name. I'm Richard.

[She hums in response, but doesn't give her own name for now. Must get you in bed first!]

[... that's going to make it a bit difficult, but he can worry about that later.]

It's nice to meet you too.
