[Anyone who passes by the fountain today might notice something unusual: namely, a certain blond prince slumped in a sitting position against it. Only, well, he's no longer a prince, and he seems to be unconscious, but only the latter part is obvious. There are no visible injuries and he's still breathing, he just doesn't show any signs of waking up anytime soon.

Every now and then his face will contort slightly as if he's in pain or disturbed by some sort of bad dream, or maybe both. It's clear that whatever happened to him while he was gone wasn't good, but he's alive and in one piece and that's what matters the most. Whether there's anything non-physical wrong... that's yet to be seen.]

[Richard makes a soft sound, but doesn't rouse. Waking him up is going to take a bit more effort than that, sorry Aldo. But hey, at least he isn't dead?]

[Aldo hesitates. He could just be sleeping, but that can't be comfortable, right? So he'll walk closer, kneeling down next to him and speaking a bit louder, just enough to wake him if he's really only asleep.]

Sir? This isn't the best place to sleep.

[At this, Richard stirs, blinking his eyes open slowly. This... definitely isn't Lastaria. It looks familiar, but he's having a hard time processing pretty much anything right now.]

Sleep...?

You were sleeping... did you just arrive? [He's obviously rather new at this people just showing up thing, but it seems a likely possiblity if he's not entirely aware he was asleep here.]

[He shakes his head a little and immediately regrets that as it makes him dizzy.]

No... I've been here before.

"Before"...? [He notices he seems a bit off balance.] Are you hurt?

Not hurt, but...

[He's not quite sure how to explain it. "I was just forcibly separated from a massive amount of power that had been in my body for quite a while."]

But...? Do you need a healing spell?

It's worth a try.

[It probably won't do much, but hey, there's always the chance that it might.]

Just one moment. [And Aldo will take a second to concentrate, then cast kindness rain in hopes it might ease some of the pain.] Did that help..?

[The headache seems to be eased somewhat, if nothing else. That's definitely a plus.]

They sent me home, then brought me back here again. But I don't know how long I've been gone...

I was back in my world for weeks, but... I'm not sure how time passes here relative to there.

[He lifts one hand to rub at his temple.]

[A pause as he thinks back to the guide.] It's the 4th of September, I believe.

Then it's only been a few days... I've only been gone for a few days.

Oh. Well... That's good then? Or bad?

It's good. That means everyone I know will still be here.

[He manages a faint smile, a trace of his noble upbringing shining through.]
